Above ground this is an interesting and attractive climber producing annual twining stems that will find their way up to 20 ft. on any convenient support. These are clad with exceedingly glossy, shining dark green leaves and bear clusters of tiny, cinnamon-scented, white flowers. Below ground they’re even more interesting and produce edible tuberous roots that dig their way perpendicularly down to over three feet in the ground – a JCB will be useful at harvest time! Much cultivated in East Asia for food and with all the many uses of the potato. Supplied as bulblets. Packet of 8 bulblets.
