Introduction:These are some of the most unusual and curious plants to be found in Australia. Sometimes placed in a family of their own, Xanthorrhoeaceae, these slow growing plants have the appearance of dense clumps of grass borne on tree trunks. The flower spikes, when they appear, are magnificent. Cool greenhouse. In their natural habitat, they thrive in open scrub and dry heath.
Description:Leaves long, very thin and brittle. When young, has no trunk but ultimately - it's a long-lived plant - can produce one up to 20 ft. long. An interesting plant. Packet of 15 seeds.
