A well known native, densely branched bush of hedgerows with spiny branches covered in spring with pure white flowers, followed in autumn by the small, Damson-like Sloes, excellent for Sloe gin and superb for home-made wine. A little known fact is the wood is favoured by the Irish for the manufacture of their shillelaghs! 10 ft. Packet of 14 seeds.
