R.H.S. Award Winner Easy to grow, this cottage garden plant has long been popular both for bedding and for providing cut flowers, but above all it is its wonderful Clove-like scent that has endeared it to generations of gardeners.
Description:
One of the nicest merits of this lovely series of Stocks is represented by its achievement in being named by the Garden Centre Association as “Fragrance of the Year”: like the best of Carnations, the flowers have a quite marvellous, rich, sweet, clove-like perfume. ‘Cinderellas’ have a naturally dwarf, well-branching habit and from summer until October are covered with dense spikes of flowers, each individual bloom being 1˝-2 ins. across in a range of no less than 12 separate colours including apple blossom, champagne, hot pink and silvery blue. Superb for bedding ‘Cinderella’ makes a super pot plant (for which use it was actually bred) for patio, conservatory or in the home provided it’s not too warm. Requires heated glass. 8-10 ins.
