Native to Japan (a very old variety, often appearing in classical poetry and other literature and now much cultivated there), Korea and Siberia comes this attractive Iris with dark violet-blue flowers tinged with yellow markings at the base of the petals. A good plant to grow on pond margins and damp ground. 2-3 ft.
