Lady's Bedstraw, Yellow Bedstraw, Wildflower of the British Isles seeds
Description:
A native wild flower of grassland throughout the British Isles. It is a slender, creeping plant with many, more or less erect stems bearing most of the summer panicles of numerous, tiny, coumarin-scented, bright yellow flowers. A plant of many herbal virtues, one of which should, at least, be safe and might be worth trying: a decoction of the herb and flowers is said to refresh the feet after long walks. The flowers have been used in a similar way to rennet for coagulating milk.
