Introduction:Terrestrial orchids grow in the ground as opposed to epiphytic orchids which grow on trees.
Description:From damp meadows and marshes of Europe comes this lovely terrestrial Orchid. With dark bluish-green leaves, often attractively splodged dark brown, it bears in May and early summer dense, egg-shaped heads of lilac to bright purple flowers. 8-20 ins.

Be warned, these are terrestrial Orchids and considered some of the very hardest of all plants to raise from seed. You will need luck, skill and patience. Because of all this, the low, for experimental use, price.
