From high in the Himalayas from northern Pakistan to Uttar Pradesh on the border between India and Tibet comes this most beautiful, doubly fragrant Columbine. With apple-scented, bluish-green foliage, it bears in summer branching stems of sweetly fragrant, large, white or cream-coloured flowers, each a couple of inches or so across, with long spurs that can be straight or hooked. On a note of nostalgia, this lovely species was in our first ever Catalogue in 1976 when it was the sole representative of the genus! 2-3 ft. Seed scarce. Packet of 15 seeds.
