1. Descriptions

The descriptions in this catalogue relating to species, varieties, and their characteristics, and information given regarding fitness for any particular purpose (including consumption) or their hardiness etc. are given only for general guidance. We believe that the seeds are true to name and free from disease and other defect etc. However, in accordance with the custom of the seed trade, we give no warranty, express or implied, as to the productiveness or description of any seeds we sell, and will not in any way be responsible for the resultant crop. (All vegetable seeds subject to EU/UK Seeds Regulations are guaranteed to comply with them at the time of delivery.)

2. Prices, description and availability of goods

Prices are subject to change without notice and all goods are sold subject to availability. Where goods are temporarily out of stock we will contact you so that you may choose between a refund on the item, having it shipped when it is back in stock or selecting an alternative product. Whilst we take the utmost care to ensure the product descriptions, pictures, information and prices are accurate we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions. Colours may vary slightly from those shown on the website due to the limitations of internet technology. Orders are accepted at our sole discretion and we maintain the right to decline orders without giving an explanation.

3. Payment methods

We accept all major Credit and Debit Cards major such as Visa, Mastercard/Eurocard, American Express, Maestro, Delta, Solo, and some Visa Electron cards). Alternatively, you may order by fax, 'phone or post using credit/debit card, cheque or postal order. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and credit/debit card transactions for orders outside the UK will be converted by the card company at their current exchange rates. Prices quoted in Euros () and US Dollars (US$)are guide prices for information only. Cheques and postal orders should always be in pounds sterling (GBP) and made payable to Chiltern Seeds.

4. Delivery arrangements

Your shopping basket displays the seeds you have purchased and these will normally be despatched within less than seven working days to the delivery address which you supply. Additional time should be allowed where payment is made by cheque, as we will not normally despatch goods until the cheque has cleared. Although we like to think we give a good service for most of the year, we hope you will appreciate that despatch of goods during our busy period (January-April inclusive) may take a little longer. However, we will notify you if your goods are not able to be despatched within this time-scale.

5. Cooling-off Period/Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your order up to 7 days after receipt, commencing on the day after you have received the goods. Notice of cancellation must be made in writing by letter, fax or email. You will receive a refund as soon as possible and within 30 days of cancellation. Unless the goods are defective, damaged or not as specified on your order acknowledgement, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods to us. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Registration is not required to use our website.
