| From open hillsides (our seeds come from almost bonsai-like plants growing on an almost vertical rock face) of the Andes in Chile comes this small, beautiful, evergreen shrub of heath-like appearance. Very variable in size and shape, it will probably adapt itself to whatever corner assigned to it and won’t object to any assistance you give it in that direction. With tiny, triangular, densely overlapping leaves, it bears in summer plume-like racemes of countless small, white, trumpet-shaped flowers. Rather unusual and rather desirable. | |
