With attractive, shiny foliage, we grew one on our kitchen window sill. Here, a couple of feet or so tall, it passed its time – almost unnoticed – until one day after a year or two it surreptitiously produced some tiny flower buds: these then just grew and grew before opening into enormous and rather gorgeous, beautifully perfumed, pendulous, trumpet-shaped, pale lime green blooms, each 8 inches or so long - far too big for the plant!
